Seems it depends on the Theme applied, I can reproduce with 'Lima' theme but not with 'Automatic' - 'System' Maybe it is a combination of Theme and 'System'/'Light'/'Dark' mode selection Please what is your theme Menu>Tools>Options>LibreOffice>Appearance.
