However, I find it very difficult to explain this to a regular user, especially those coming from any other office suite, where filtering by selected column doesn't add anything after the last row with content. If I'm selecting an entire column and telling LibreOffice to show only certain results, and it still displays some extra ones, then it's not doing exactly what it's being asked to do, which is quite confusing and counterintuitive. That said, this is actually my first bug report, and I really don't want to create controversy...
