            Bug ID: 166717
Summary: Long vertical tabs lists are difficult to navigate
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Some dialogs have vertical tabs on the left. If the list of tabs is longer than
the height of the dialog, arrows are shown on the tab list. To access the
hidden tabs down the list, the user would need to click the down arrow
repetitively to circle through tabs. This is clunky: first, all the visible
tabs need to be passed with the down arrow before the hidden tabs are revealed.
Secondly, clicking the arrow is repetive and unnecessarily lenghty.

Please provide a better method, for example a scrollbar on the tab list, or
arrows that move the list instead of the current tab.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Right click a Style, click Edit Style...
3. To access the "Outline & List" tab, click on the down arrow in the tab list
13 times...

Actual Results:
13 clicks needed.

Expected Results:
We should be able to scroll through the list with the mousewheel or a
scrollbar.

Reproducible: Always
