The shape is an ordinary VML circle. LibreOffice has no problem with it. For the example file "112984_min.doc" I see these: The import anchors the shape to character and this character is hidden. That makes the shape go to layer "InvisibleHeaven". You can see the shape in the Development Tools. Go to Format > Character > tab Font Effects. Uncheck option "hidden". The circle becomes visible. Albeit it has a wrong position. For the document "Word label file" the character the circles are anchored to is not inside the table but after the table. Set cursor there and then call Format > Character > Font Effects.
