          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 66447
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Window>Freeze/Split: rename and move to View menu
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.4.2 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

In Calc:

Why are Freeze and Split placed in the Window menu? I think the Window menu is
only for managing windows but not for document internal settings that can be
saved to the document. Users won't expect actions to modify a documents view in
the Window menu.

I suggest to move both to the View menu.

Additionally I suggest to rename them to "Freeze lines/rows" and "Split
lines/rows". Without renaming it isn't clear what will be freezed or splitted.

And because selecting "Freeze" will automatically deselect "Split" (and also
the other way around) I suggest to use radio-buttons instead of check-boxes.
Maybe both should be put into a new sub-menu of View. Structure:

Lines/Rows:
- Split
- Freeze
- None
