            Bug ID: 166927
           Summary: Image -> Import of high resolution BMP (530 MB)
                    requires 1,7 GB ram to open; Libo 4.2 required 600 MB
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.0.0 alpha0+
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Draw
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Image -> Import of high resolution BMP (500 MB) requires 1,2 GB ram to open;
Libo 4.2 required 600 MB

Context:
User at bug 166427 generated a PDF with Draw
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TwUz0A4qHZ_LL7y2H8y1-XpCXRtf3onx/view?usp=sharing

Importing the PDF into draw (File - Open) with Master generates the BMP when
saving to ODG. No clue why. When extracting the images with a online tool I get
PNG's

Bottom-line: there are cases where we are handling large BMP's

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Draw
2. Insert -> Image -> Attached image
3. Look in the task manager 1,7 GB needed peek. Dropping back to 1,2

Actual Results:
1,7 GB ram needed peak

Expected Results:
LibreOffice 4.2 could do this with 600 MB Ram

Reproducible: Always
