          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 66465
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Wish: Slower zoom effect for images (Ken Burns)
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.2.2 release
         Component: Presentation
           Product: LibreOffice

Hello,

within a slide show in public (approx. 500 people watching) I'd like to choose
Libreoffice Impress over other presentation software. Probably I need to
include this animation as a video clip (rendered by some other libre software):

I just want one slow zoom out from the center of a large image (say over 10-15
seconds): First you see just the center section (approx 5 times zoomed), in the
end the entire picture should be shown. During the entire animation, the full
screen should be covered by (part of) the photograph.

At the moment I only see the "zoom" effect. I manupilated it by scaling the
image
larger than the screen, so the screen is covered all the way. But even "very
slow" is to fast this time (suggestion: custom speed => enter duration), and
then there is no zoom option to state the zoom factor.

Did I miss anything?

If this is possible, it is also easy to render the famous Ken Burns effect
(i.e. zooming in instead of zooming out) with LibreOffice Impress. This effect
is described in [1], asked for in [2], and there is a demo at youtube[3].

Thanks
Mike.
