The picture shows a character style for the heading numbering of the paragraph
used, but the "regular" setting of the character style is not overwriting the
"italics" setting of the pragraph style
I'm trying to format differently a paragraph "Heading 3" from its heading
numbering. The paragraph style is in italics, while the heading numbering needs
to be regular. To do so, I created a custom character style with regular font
instead of italics, and I applied it to the heading numbering. Unfortunately,
it seems like the regular character style does not overwrite the italics
paragraph style for the heading numbering.
I confirm that other properties are applied using a custom character style. For
example, I applied a character style with small-caps and changed the numbering
style to letters and such letters did appear in small-caps. I did the same
thing making the heading numbering bold with a custom character style and it
worked.
