--- Comment #6 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- At 25.8.0 the Tools -> Options -> Appearance panel now includes a "Use white document background" that should apply by default and should not require installation of an Appearance theme nor modification of any of the Customizations list box entries. Also, IINM from 25.8 the "Enable application theming" checkbox needs to be checked active to allow any change to the Customizations list box to apply and persist. The restart remains necessary when clearing back to defaults with "Reset all" and uncheck of the enable application theming checkbox. But something is not behaving as it needs to, at least on Windows builds, to clear the Customization list box back to os/DE automatic system colors.
