Bug ID: 167263
Summary: On Libreoffice QT/KF (Linux), Copy and paste with
ctrl+c / ctrl+v creates an image
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.2.4.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
On Libreoffice QT/KF (Linux), Copy and paste an object with ctrl+c / ctrl+v
creates an image instead of correctly copying the object.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. On Impress (or Writer) create a text box and write a text in it.
2. Copy with CTRL+C
3. Paste with CTRL+V
Actual Results:
A transparent image is created with the text
Expected Results:
The text box should be copied as such.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
The problem only occurs with QT-based VCL plugins (QT5, QT6, KF6). Occurs on
both X11 and Wayland.
I also experienced something similar with Calc, but at the moment I cannot
reproduce it.
Instead, using Right-Click -> Paste seems to work
