Bug ID: 167406
Summary: Broken Auto-Update - Manually Triggering MAR (Without
Auto-Updates)
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.2.3.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Installation
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Currently, LibreOffice auto-updates are bugged ā they remain enabled even when
disabled via settings or policy, and often lead to uncontrolled background
updates or even full "reinstallations."
Iām looking for a way to manually trigger a MAR update for LibreOffice ā
without enabling automatic updates system-wide.
I want to run a targeted update via script ā like a scheduled task to trigger
an update.
My questions:
- Is there a known way to manually trigger MAR updates for LibreOffice?
- What parameters are needed for the command line (target, version, etc.)?
- Where can I find a list of available MAR files or LibreOffice versions?
Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards
