--- Comment #3 from [email protected] --- Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, it was not the "Show Formula" option, as when I tried this following your advice, I got a different result to that which occurred. The formula bar display above the worksheet shows the formula when I toggle in both instances, regardless of the option chosen, whereas on the erroneous worksheet, the formula bar display showed the value. The "Menu>Data>Calculate>Formula to value" looks promising, as when I tried this it had the same result, but it only applied it to the single cell in which I was working, not to every cell in the workbook. I checked the setting on a cell which should have had a formula, but which I had not corrected by copying the formula into, and the setting was applied, but how to the complete workbook, and not a single cell as per my test? I do not believe that it was applied by me during input, as I had no reason to modify any of the settings, and do not remember doing so. Why isn't a toggle available to unset this option? Fortunately, I was able to recover all the formulae from the previous year's workbook, as I copy and modify this workbook each year, but it was a time-consuming exercise. Hopefully, you may be able to solve this mystery and apply a fix. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
