On the one hand, this is an appropriate fate for a bug tracker / community that is overwhelmed with dealing with bugs and has specialized in “managing” them for years, on the other hand, it's annoying. It would make sense if “the administrators” made the effort to put the first e.g. 5 comments of new contributors under moderator review, and simply kick out spam instead of setting it to “hidden”.
