Bug ID: 167483
Summary: EDITING: Graphic styles options cannot be
viewed--need to add a slider to the UI
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.2.4.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
LO Draw ➡ Add a new shape (rectangle w/ rounded corners) ➡ right click on
added shape (e.g. to try and change the corner radius--not sure why this is so
hard to find) ➡ Edit style opens up a pop-op "Graphic Styles" menu w/ ~15
entries that lists General, Line, Area, etc. Normally, I would have expected
the window that shows the various options to be adjustable so one could read
the text label. Even after adjusting the pop-up size there is no change at all
in the coverage of the menu entries.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.See above
2.
3.
Actual Results:
See attached
Expected Results:
Being able to read every single word in the menu that someone went to all that
trouble to create, or at least be able to adjust the view of the menu, or, if
you want to adopt a Microsoft bad practice, put a tiny scroll-bar at the bottom
so I can scroll back and forth to read the text (I am totally kidding, please
don't do this! Just make it an adjustable---drag a corner/edge to resize until
the text can be read.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
It should have shown the contents of the menu inside the box provided. It
would be a tiny bit of work to calculate if there was sufficient screen space
to show all the menu (its pretty skinny and only has 15 items in it, so I would
suspect the default should be to have the window that shows the menu entries
sized to show all of the text, and then only shrink it down if the screen
resolution/space (e.g. if using a tilling DE or on a mobile phone--since I
should be able to run a full version of LibreOffice including most Python and
Java extensions on even an older Samsung Galaxy S21, right?!?)
