            Bug ID: 167619
Summary: Google Docs ODT file compatibility: support importing
google Diagrams in an editable manner
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

When exporting a Google Docs document that has a diagram in it created with the
native Google Docs "diagram" feature, and then loading the ODT in Writer, the
diagram is displayed as a vector image but it's not editable as a normal
diagram in Writer.

It seems it could be editable if the google Docs' diagram shapes were mapped
into Writer's shapes. There is some discussion about missing basic shapes in
Writer's diagrams here:

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87892

that seems to be a pre-requisite for this features.

This was tested in Linux/flatpak with the latest Writer release 25.2.4.

I tried exporting the google doc as a docx but the result for the diagram is
bad: some of the text is not legible, whereas when exporting as ODT, the
overall diagram had no noticeable display artifacts when loaded in Writer.
