I'm currently restricted to 7.5.9.2 in my live environment - outstanding table
and filter bugs absolutely prevent any upgrading to later generations.
I have a test machine with 25.2 and don't even see Expert settings. If it's
anything like the UI for Excel then perhaps it would be fairly intuitive

Local/Global and even sheet within workbook are all features of the Excel GUI
but I would not find a reminder popping up with a new CALC document [not a copy
of an existing document] a contentious procedure. By the time it occurs, I
imagine users would be familiar with the permutations and adapt fairly easily.
