Description:
After opening documents in LO, whether Calc, Impress, or Write, LO does not let
me Quit the application nor close the document. While working I open a dozen+
different documents but I can never close any. File --> Exit does nothing more
than to bring a minimized Calc, Draw, or Write window into the foreground but
it never exits. There is no Save before exit confirmation. It always stays
running. The "X" button on the top right of the window manager is
unresponsive. File --> Close likewise does nothing.
I installed LO Community 25.8.0.4. I run Linux Mint 22.1. I need to run this
version because the Linux Mint distro of LO is too old and doesn't have all the
Calc functions I need.
This problem affects
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open 1 or more documents in Draw, Calc, or Writer.
2. Try to close the document, or
3. Try to File --> Exit Libreoffice
Actual Results:
Nothing happens. LO stays open. Documents stay open. Oddly, only a minimized
or non-foreground visible window is brought to the foreground.
Expected Results:
Document closes or LO closes. If document is not saved, then a Save
confirmation should be displayed, which it does not.
