--- Comment #3 from Andrew Rowland <[email protected]> --- Thank you, @m_a_riosv for the suggestion. I did find a partial workaround in the forum, which involved making a new page style for the Chaper Title pages and playing around with top margin and header height to get the same effect. It wasn't easy, not least because clicking Apply in the Page Styles dialogue does not work immediately. I eventually figured out I had to close the master document and re-open it to see each change, which was time consuming because of the number of sub-documents. Also, adding the 'space before' amount to header height did not give an identical result so I had to experiment. It was, however, a very time-consuming approach, as deselecting 'Add paragraph ... spacing at top of pages' had numerous side-effects, meaning I had to create a number of page styles, e.g. for the cover, front matter, end matter, prologue... I still strongly feel that being to state whether a style is to have its 'space before' honoured or suppressed at the top of a page - right there in the Paragraph Style dialog - is both simpler and more intuitive than the convoluted approach I had to adopt. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
