Thanks for the quick response and help.  I disabled regular expressions and
that fixed the problem. Keep up the good work. It's appreciated.

Hi Jim, thanks for reporting. The period(.) is part of regular expressions, I
think there are two options:
- Disable regular expression in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/Calculate.
- If you want use regular expressions, put a backslash before the period \. You
can find about it in the help index tab, searching for regular expressions.
Please confirm if this solve your issue.
