This box is running Devuan daedalus. I'm currently using Xfce4. LO 25.2.4.3 build 33e196637044ead23f5c3226cde09b47731f7e27 installed by downloading a deb from libreoffice.org. I installed 25.2.5.2-2, and the behavior changed. It's still wrong, but less wrong. Now it matches the word "denouncing" in the comment itself, but not in the document body.
