--- Comment #13 from Buovjaga <[email protected]> ---
Let's set to needinfo as we have someone in the dev chat, who can't reproduce
even with the suspected configuration:

cannot reproduce, for example "Ermäßigung" typed into a new document, no matter
whether I accept at Erm or after typing Ermä both get the full word added to
the document.
If the user is using a different input method or a remote connection, then that
might send weird codes instead of actual characters and could be an
explanation, but there's no mention of any of that in the ticket..
macOS is german, de_DE.UTF-8, LO itself is en-US UI
language of the document doesn't matter (apart from getting spell-checker
wigglies when setting it to en-US
CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 15.6; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: osx
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US
have multiple input methods setup but even when I use the Japanese IME and
start typing Erm<enter> or Ermä<enter> (to submit the partial string entered
into the IME allows me to accept the suggestion, with the full word being added
both times.
