Nice to hear it works. Based on what you now say, I think I never saw the
jumping behaviour myself.

Please open a new report for the dashed line contrast topic. From what I can
see testing with a bunch of versions, it is not a new style. I do note that for
some reason the opacity of the dashes is uneven, both on Linux and Windows.
Even this phenomenon goes back to version 4.3.
