Description:
format sometimes loses footnote structure or field data when exported or parsed
outside its own environment, especially if:
The file was saved using “Save As → .odt” after being edited from a .docx, or
The footnotes were inserted via field codes rather than the standard Insert →
Footnote/Endnote tool.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.upload a .odt file to OpenGPT
2.ask AI to describe where the footnotes are located (inline vs bottom of page)
3.AI reports the footnotes are inline.
