Example file from Excel

Attached example file has a custom number formatting applied on data used by a
pivot table.
The pivot table also uses this custom number format, but when the file is
opened in Calc, it resets to standard number format.

1. Open attached file
-> in the pivot table on Sheet3 the number appear as 1, 2 instead of the custom
format that would show "less" and "much" strings instead of these.
On the Sheet1.F2:G5 range - which are plain cells without pivot table - these
custom number formats work.
