I am sorry but I was concerned with the annoying space between the first/last
character of the fourmula and the border of the rectangle containing the
formula object. Thiese spaces should be eliminated or at least minimized. At
present (25.8 release) they are way too wide and cause very strong problems in
formatting when the formulas are placed in a line of text. The size of these
spaces is perfectly shown in the attachment already.
The issue is very simple: if you place a formula online within text and place a
space beforeand after the formula, the space character together with the
unmodifiable space at the beginning/end of the formula make for a way too wide
a space; if you do not put a sepsrating character space and follow the formula
directly with the next word, the space will be fixed, and in a paragraph with
justified formatting, such spacing will be generally different from that
between other words, resulting in a very ugly appearance

So I'll leave to Chow the addition of example files concerning the fonts for
symbols that he reported.
Instead, I'll attavh a writer doc with example and explanation which I hope
could help to visually check the issue.
