I'm using default LO memory settings (unless undo steps only 50) & only 1.3Ghz Pentium dual processor with 2GB RAM. In my opinion, Windows system easily fragmented after sometime. So we should regularly do defragment & some cleaning (I use CCleaner & System Ninja). Please try also latest stable release & resetting user profile.
