OpenCL and CPU Threading both available under Tools > Options > Calc >
Calculate (after bug 151144 / https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/187559)
are expert settings that most users should never touch. It works reliably and
if really needed, admins can disable the option via expert settings.
