Rather, the Formula bar "Input Line" in calc provides non-styled text editing for IIANM 64,000 chrs in a calc cell. More than sufficient for those not abusing a spreadsheet. More of the text/formula is made visible simply by dragging the bottom edge of the input line downward, max of 25 lines--but text of the entire cell will be editable with simple text cursor, home, end and pgDn, pgUp movements.
