If you have made changes to your document, LibreOffice automatically saves a
new version when you close the document.

If you save the document manually, do not change the document after saving, and
then close, no new version will be created."

- if I work on something and dont save manually, but close the document, and
LibreOffice is asking me to save, and I save, I will have a new version. I
checked that.
- if I work and save manually, no new version is created.

It's a little bit strange but this is how it is working right now.

What I want to add, is that if it will save a new version each time we save a
document, my document will not fit on a hard drive. A 50 MB document will
became 100 MB after 5 seconds if we press Ctrl+S, 150 MB after the second
Ctrl+S and so on... So, maybe this was a way of limiting the increasing size of
the document with verion control.
