--- Comment #2 from Dieter <[email protected]> ---
I confirm it with

Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: d60ff8c8bd4e3ebf8f84f53448ead3c838332ea9
CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI render: Skia/Raster;
VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL threaded

Steps:
1. Open attachment 203506
2. Select first circle and open image properties
3. Tab "Position and Size" -> Position
4. Change Vertical to "Centre" "To character" -> OK (image is centered to
character now)
5. Save (as docx) and reaload

Expected
Vertical position remains

Actual result
vertical position changes back to Top to Baselin (doesn't happen if saved as
odt)
