            Bug ID: 169086
           Summary: Oddities with Endnotes
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Fiddeling around with repairs by "compare document", different versions of LO
writer and different file formats ( *.odt, *.docx ) I experienced / realized
that:
- It's possible / happening that some Endnote marks become "arabic" ( 1, 2, 3
... ) while the endnote format is set to "roman" ( I, II, III ... ),

and that:

- "Roman" formatted endnotes are shown in sequence of the roman literals when
selecting to insert references instead of the numerical value ( e.g. endnote
"V" ( 5 ) is listed after "LXVIII" ( 68 ) while "LXIV" ( 69 ) is some places
above ) ??? very helpful in search :-( Drunk programmer? Guesswork for
intellectuals? Why not sort acc. their german names ( "achtundsechzig", "fünf",
"neunundsechzig" )? Or just by dicing?
