The colour-loss problem does not appear . The file opens with the colours I want and expect. The documentation states that this points to something in my user-configuration somehow causing the colour loss problem. I've not deliberately changed anything < don't know how ... > but nevertheless it shows this isn't a bug - but inadvertent user-error.
