Bug ID: 169325
Summary: Want ability to resize page to fit a single object
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: needsUXEval
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Draw

One sometimes uses a background image (or other filled object) for a Draw page.
But - the image does not necessarily fit the page size. It would be nice if we
could right-clock the background image and say "Size page to this image".
This could be made to work for just single objects, or for any selection of
objects, based on its bounding rectangle.
Note: A small complication regards margins: When we ask for a resize, do we
want the object to cover the entire page, or the page-area-within-the-margins?
In my particular use case, I prefer the former, but I can imagine the latter
making sense - an image which is not supposed to cover the margins but the
effective page area. So, perhaps two separate commands? A command with
parameters?
