Bug ID: 169382
Summary: Changing paragraph style of a list item remove it from
the list
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.8.1.1 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
If I want to change the Paragraph Style of a list item it is no longer a list
item, but a simple paragraph.
It is the same behaviour, the list being numbered or bulleted.
As a workaround, if I reassign it as a list item, using F12 keyboard shortcut,
by example, it gets the good number again, in a numbered list.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new document
2. Start a list with a few items (with F12 keyboard shortcut, eg)
3. affect a Paragraph Style (Preformatted Text, by example) to an item of the
list
Actual Results:
the item with the changed paragraph style is no longer a list item since 25.2.0
release of LibreOffice
Expected Results:
changing the paragraph style shouldn't affect the "list state" of a paragraph,
as it was the behavior of older versions
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
This bug is no longer present in LibreOffice 25.8.2.2, but I'm reporting it
because I didn't find any report of it here (sorry if I missed it), and the
25.2 series of LibreOffice is the default version of the latest Debian, by
example : it would be great if it was fixed in the 25.2 series too.
FWIW, I've narrowed the affected versions of LibreOffice (25.2.0.3 -> 25.8.1.1)
using AppImage releases on Linux, but at least one of these versions is
affected on Windows too.
