Thanks for the report. Since resetting your user profile fixes the issue
temporarily, this strongly suggests that a specific setting you change, or an
extension you install, is causing the freeze. 

To help us find the bug:
1. After reset, does the freeze happen immediately or only after you install a
specific extension?
2. Does it happen after you change a specific setting? (e.g. Tools > Options >
View or Appearance)
