--- Comment #6 from mousio <[email protected]> --- I strongly support the idea of adding chart sheets as a new sheet type in LibreOffice Calc. In Microsoft Excel, chart sheets have existed since version 97 and remain available today. They allow a chart to occupy an entire sheet, automatically scaling with the window size. This is very different from embedding a chart as a fixed‑size object inside a data sheet. The benefits of chart sheets include: Dynamic scaling: charts resize automatically with the window, making them ideal for presentations. Cleaner visualization: no surrounding grid or other distractions, just the chart itself. Interoperability: Excel files containing chart sheets currently lose fidelity when opened in Calc, since Calc does not support this sheet type. Professional workflow: users can prepare reports and dashboards directly in Calc without needing to export charts to Impress or external tools. Adding chart sheets would not only improve usability but also strengthen compatibility with Excel documents. This feature would be a valuable enhancement for users who rely heavily on charts for analysis and presentation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
