What could be is, that the break up isn't undone by a Undo operation. I.e. sometimes I accidentally do copy/paste the whole cell (which I immediately notice because of colours) but then I undo. If that doesn't apply to the CF, it could explain the spurious break up I see. Also, the other report seems to rather describe it as a nice-to-have feature... but even there I'd tend to rather consider it a bug. So...
