--- Comment #8 from [email protected] --- Title: Chart line colour ignored when transparency = 0% (line rendered black regardless of chosen colour) Component: Chart Version: LibreOffice 24.2.7.2 OS: Linux (Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, x86_64) Description When formatting a chart data series in Calc, the selected line colour is ignored whenever transparency is set to 0%. In this case, the line always renders in black, regardless of the colour chosen. If transparency is set to any non-zero value (e.g. 1% or 5%), the selected colour displays correctly. This indicates a chart rendering bug where transparency = 0% triggers a fallback to a default black stroke. similar https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47809 Steps to Reproduce Open Calc and create a new spreadsheet. Enter simple numeric data and insert a line chart or XY (scatter) chart. Double-click the chart to enter edit mode. Select a data series. Right-click → Format Data Series… In the Line tab: Choose any non-black line colour (e.g. red). Ensure line style = Continuous. Set Transparency = 0%. The line is rendered black, ignoring the selected colour. Change transparency to 5% (or any value above 0%). The line immediately displays in the correct selected colour. Actual Result With transparency = 0%, the line always renders in black. The selected line colour is ignored. Expected Result Line should display using the chosen colour even when transparency is 0% (fully opaque). Additional Information LibreOffice version: 24.2.7.2 OS: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, 64-bit VCL backend: gtk3 The issue occurs with new charts and existing charts. Workaround: set transparency to any non-zero value (even 1%) to restore correct colour rendering. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
