Summary: LibreOffice crashes when saving while connected to the
internet
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.2.7.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Dear LibreOffice Team,
I am runnung MacOS 15.7.2 with LibreOffice 25.2.7.2; Anit-Virus sooftware is
not installed; full file access has been granted for LibreOffice; This affects
all applications of LibreOffice:
When I try to save any file form a LibreOffice application and the computer is
not connected to the internet, everything works fine. I also works if the "full
file access" has not been granted (therefore, I don't think that this is the
problem).
When connected to the internet (via WiFi), the LibreOffice applications crash
when trying to save the document (color wheel keeps spinning for at leat 2 h;
after that I killed the application). I reproduced this error several times.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open any LibreOffice document
2. swith on WiFi internet connection
3. save the document
Actual Results:
color wheel keeps spinning for at least 2h; after that time the application was
killed
Expected Results:
access to local file system an saving the file to desired folder
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
if I perform the steps above " steps to reproduce" WITHOUT being connected by
WiFi to the internet, everything works as expected.
