I did do the safe mode restart and the crashes continued. I downgraded/restored the Win11 updates to the point prior to the crashes happening. That fixed the problem. Unfortunately, that meant that the security updates weren't applied. The following month, I let the Win11 updates happen to see if this had resolved itself. The update proceeded OK and LO didn't have an issue. So my guess is that the Win11 update had an issue.
