            Bug ID: 169695
Summary: Table cells background color changed unexpectedly
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Creating a table with different cell background colors changes them
unexpectedly when selecting multiple cells (like with rows/columns) and trying
to change another property of the cells/table.

The issue is experienced with the following sequence:
1. Open a new Writer document and create a 2 x 2 table - with Ctrl-F12 or
'Table' > 'Insert Table ...'
2. Select the first column with the mouse - left mouse click with the pointer
over it
3. Right-click in the selected column and select 'Table Properties...'
4. Select 'Background' > 'Color' > 'Gold' > 'OK'
5. Right click in the lower right cell, 'Table Properties...', and this time
select 'Background' > 'Color' > 'Blue' > 'OK'
6. Select the second row with the mouse - left mouse click with the pointer
left of it
7. Right-click in the selected row and select 'Table Properties...'

8. Now the 'Active' and 'New' colors in the shown dialog are neither 'Gold' nor
'Blue'.

9. Ignore this setting and select the tab 'Table'.
10. Change any setting, like 'Alignment' from 'Automatic' to 'Left', and click
'OK'.

11. The whole line background is now changed to the one shown at point 8
