Impress version LO 26.2 (alpha 1) just crashes when I try to insert a media
file into my slide - be it an *avi, *.mp4, *.mpg file, etc. Video media file.
Running a previously inserted media video file in Impress also resulted in a
total crash of all LibreOffice document files (pptx, xlsx and docx) which were
opened at that time
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Impress in LO ver. 26.2 (alpha)
2.Create a new slide and choose it.
3.Insert-Media- Choose Video file into the chosen slide
4. Complete crash
Actual Results:
Crashed completely (including all other LO opened document files)
Expected Results:
Impress should have played the video file which was successfully inserted and
embedded within the chosen Impress slide
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I have been a user of LO Impress from ver 7.2 onwards.
I could never get the program to play any video file embedded in an Impress
slide.
(hate to compare : but MS Power Point plays the same said video file
effortlessly when embedded in its slides, on my very same laptop.)
