--- Comment #2 from Volodymyr <[email protected]> --- I tested the selective recovery issue in both stable and alpha/beta versions of LibreOffice: Versions tested: - Windows 11 Pro x64 (23H2) - LibreOffice 25.8.3.2 stable (X86_64) - Version 26.2.0.0.alpha1+ beta (X86_64) Test setup: Opened Writer (saved or unsaved depending on the test) and Calc (saved or unsaved depending on the test). Performed a system restart. Reopened LibreOffice. Observed behavior: In stable 25.8.3.2: only the saved Calc file was restored in the recent documents; Writer (unsaved) was not restored. In alpha/beta 26.2.0.0.alpha1+: only the saved Writer file appeared in the recent documents; Calc (simply opened, not saved) was not restored. In both versions, only saved files appear reliably in the recent documents list after restart; unsaved/opened-only documents are not consistently recovered. Conclusion: The selective recovery issue persists across versions. LibreOffice does not consistently restore all open documents after a restart; it seems recovery favors saved files. Recommendation: Bug not fixed. Behavior aligns with original report: recovery is partial and depends on whether a file was saved prior to crash/restart. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
