            Bug ID: 169818
Summary: Font with very high contrast.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
LibreOffice Writer has the option to automatically set the font/text color,
meaning the color changes from black to white depending on whether the theme is
dark or light. The contrast of pure white against the dark background makes it
difficult to read. My suggestion is to make it like Google Docs. In Google
Docs, if I set the font color to a dark gray (not absolute black), when the
theme is in dark mode, the text becomes gray (not absolute white). In practice,
the font color tone would adapt in dark mode depending on how dark the font was
in light mode.
This function could also be adapted to colored fonts.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Write in dark mode
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Bad contrast. The contrast of pure white against the dark background makes it
difficult to read the text.

Expected Results:
Better contrast between text color and background color.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Google Docs does this well.
