I am using LO since years and there is still this one for me bad behaviour to
see, even in newer versions of LO.
when an odt file is opened, less than 1 MB in size with only 3 pictures as png
in an separate folder Bilder I am able opening another odt file from Writer.
But if I am using a search tool like for example Everything for searching an
odt and now try opening this often this will fail. There is no useful reaction
at all then to see. I then have to use windows task manager to kill
libreOffice. Next time when opening a file LO tries to repair all open files,
opens them and also the file that it could not open last time.
This kind of behaviour is not at all funny because it costs time and there also
is risc there loosing something. As I already said I have seen this now since
years in older and newer versions of LO.
System is a laptop from 2009 double core 2.8 GHz, 8GB RAM, Win 7 64bit SP1.
I have seem Bug 150138 FILEOPEN: Writer crashes when opening ODT file. This may
be similar, but VERIFIED FIXED seems to indicate that is has been fixed. I
still see this as described above. So I feel its still important reporting
this.
If its needed I can give my sample odt file but this is a private file that I
do not want posting here. So please tell me where to send if needed.
