            Bug ID: 169865
Summary: Updater prompts for admin login at every launch while
                    running as standard user
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.1.1 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
While running as a standard user in Windows, every time I launch any program,
before the program window opens, a full-screen User Account Control prompt
appears for Updater. Being a standard user, it prompts for an administrator's
credentials.
I've tried Writer, Calc, Base, Draw, Impress, Math, "LibreOffice," and
"LibreOffice (Safe Mode)"
If I click No, the program (Writer, Calc, etc.) opens. If I enter the admin
password and click Yes, the updater briefly runs, then the intended program
opens.
However, whether or not I run it, it will happen again after closing the
program and opening it (or another one) again, even without rebooting.
This only happens as a standard user; I've logged in as an admin user, and
there is no prompt (or Updater activity at all) when launching the programs
then.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Log in to Windows 10 as a standard, non-admin user.
2.Launch one of the LibreOffice programs.

Actual Results:
The Updater program for LibreOffice prompts through Windows User Account
Control for an admin password. It will do it again the next

Expected Results:
The updater should either prompt for admin credentials once or not at all.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
