I get your point, when you change the format of the dates in the data set, the chart is not update automatically ; you have to triger the change manually ; select the chart -> right mouse click (contextual menu) -> Edit (last item) -> Data Ranges (last item) -> click on 'Select Data Ranges' (Data Range tab, Data Range field) and select the data range with your mouse and the update is done. Another way to workaround quickly is just to save & close & reopen your document and that does the update. the question is : is it a bug or an enhancement ?
