(That happened to be the default character.) If I change the character to any other character, it remains unchanged when I save the file and re-open again. BTW, when I reopen the file, the character style automatically reverts to ListLabel 10. If I set bullet style = none, and save the file, when I re-open the file, it is reset to ListLabel 10. This is an independent observation (BUG??), and happens even when I have set the bullet character to anything.
