            Bug ID: 169927
Summary: "Invalid image format" for JPG located on Android
                    phone
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

When connecting an Android phone to the computer, activating file exchange,
then I can use Insert->Image to browse the phones camera images.
However when I select a JPEG photo I get an error popup saying "invalid image
format".
At the very least this is a mis-leading error message, because the JPEGs are
fine.

When I copy the image to the local disk first, then I can insert it without any
problem.

Version: 25.2.7.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

Skia/Raster; VCL: win
