            Bug ID: 169985
Summary: Presenter Console layout selector missing on Windows
11; cannot switch to “Next Slide Only” view
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

The Presenter Console in LibreOffice Impress does not show the layout selector
(grid icon), and layout-switching keyboard shortcuts do not work.

As a result, it is impossible to hide the “Current Slide” panel or switch to
the “Next Slide Only” presenter layout. The presenter console is stuck in a
legacy layout showing both Current Slide and Next Slide side-by-side.

This makes the “Next Slide” preview too small to be usable during
presentations.
There is no configuration option to remove the Current Slide panel.

This behavior occurs consistently on Windows 11 with LibreOffice 25.8.3.2.

Steps to Reproduce
1. On Windows 11, connect an external display (extended desktop, not mirrored).
2. Open LibreOffice Impress.
3. Enable Presenter Console (Tools → Options → Impress → General).
4. Assign slideshow to external display (Slide Show → Slide Show Settings).
5. Start slideshow (F5).
6. Observe Presenter Console on the laptop display.

Actual Result
The Presenter Console displays a fixed layout showing both Current Slide and
Next Slide. There is no layout selector icon, and keyboard shortcuts for
switching presenter layouts do not work.

Expected Result
The Presenter Console should provide a visible layout selector or option to
switch to a “Next Slide Only” layout, allowing the Current Slide panel to be
hidden and the Next Slide preview to use the full available space.

Tried the following with no effect:
- Disabling Skia and hardware acceleration
- Disabling OpenGL
- Toggling Presenter Console on/off
- Restarting LibreOffice
- Rebooting Windows
- Reassigning display order

This appears to be a regression or fallback to a legacy presenter console mode
on Windows 11.
